“City of Angels”

I would like to feel
the sensation of touch,
to hear the dawn sing
through bright sunrise.

I want to feel
the taste of pears,
the sweet smell of
your smooth skin.

I would like to know,
what pain is like,
what the physical,
mental affront is.

I want to feel the
current of billows,
 gentle morning breeze
of zigzagged winds.

I want to know,
what famine is,
what the meaning
of jealousy is.

I will leave everything
just for your kiss,
just for the touch
of your velvety arms.
