The way you came to me,
I felt, I couldn't speak,
My heart was pounding all the time,
I looked for words, but I couldn't find.

You touched me tenderly,
Than looked at me carnally,
I trembled in my whole body,
No more did I feel lonely.

You started to kiss me,
But suddenly I woke up,
I thought, that it was just a dream,
I did it entirely believe.

Someone knocked on the door,
You stood there, as in my dream,
And I realised: you're real, you're honesty,
And you are loving me for me.

Comments by the judges:

It captures the moment of what good poetry must do: It speaks in feelings and is not held within its own words.  Human senses are not separate from each other; they are hopelessly entwined by design.  “My Dream” reminded me of that eternal paradox. This piece combines open expression with deepest feelings and conveys an authentic sense of emotion.
