German Bernardo came to Miskolc in 2010 to teach mathematics in Spanish at Herman Otto Gimnázium. The interview was one of three conducted in the autumn of 2016 by second-year students enrolled in a writing class here at the university.

Originally from Great Britian, Jeremy Parrott works for the English Department at the University of Szeged, where he has been teaching courses ranging from EFL Methodology to literary biography for more than ten years now. He is also an avid book collector. The interview was originally conducted in 2010.
One of the newest faces in the Institute has actually been at the unviersity for a few years. Originally from Germany, Eva Teshajev came to Miskolc to teach German in the Foreign Language Learning Center (IOK), but now teaches courses in the German and translating programs at the Modern Philology Institute.
For the spring semester, 2009, the English department is honored to have Dr. Margaret Manchester teaching a class on the Cold War. Dr. Manchester is a visiting Fulbright professor from Providence, Rhode Island, where she teaches history. This semester she comes to Miskolc every Wednesday from Debrecen, where she teaches two other history classes.
A university student in Krosno, Poland, Magda Goraj spent the fall semester of 2007 in Miskolc. The following interview was conducted in November 2007 by Emma Szabó.
Living in Great Britain most of the year, Dr. Swatridge has been coming every autumn to the English Department to offer courses in British Civilization, Academic Writing, and Critical Thinking since 1998. He's is the author of numerous publications, including a book on Hungary, A Country Full of Aliens (2005), published by Corvina. An excerpt from the book can be read here at the Coffee Break.
